(MENAFN) Airlines in Dubai plan to cover the growing passenger demand with Emirates expanding their fleet size up to 250 aircraft while flydubai to 100, according to the Emirates 24/7.
Thierry Antinori, Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, said: �We will have 250 aircraft and we will fly to 170 destinations by 2020.�
In response, Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, said: �We will have over 100 aircraft and fly to 100 destinations by 2020.�
Flydubai has recently announced its plan to reach five more destinations, including Delhi, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram in India; and Almaty and Shymkent in Kazakhstan.
