(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Aims at ensuring child safety in school transport buses through audio-visual surveillance system at bus stops routes and sites.lt-general shaikh saif bin zayed al nahyan deputy prime minister and minister of interior has unveiled an initiative to reinforce child safety and security in school transport buses in a cooperation with a number of local and federal institutions.the move follows the directives of general shaikh mohammed bin zayed al nahyan crown prince of abu dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the uae armed forces.it aims at ensuring child safety in school transport buses through audio-visual surveillance system at bus stops routes and sites.the surveillance system will be connected with the operations room.shaikh saif noted that the initiative will be implemented first in abu dhabi and then in the rest of the country.he made the remarks during a federal national council (fnc) session held here on tuesday morning.he was accompanied by lt-general saif abdullah al sha’far under-secretary of the ministry of interior; staff-major general khalifa hareb al khaili assistant under-secretary for naturalisation residency and ports affairs; major-general mohammed khalfan al rumaithi deputy general commander of abu dhabi police; and directors-general at the ministry of interior 70 officers and 60 cadets.
