(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Ce-president attends the graduation ceremony of the 33rd batch of uae university students in al ain on tuesday.people should have great ambitions and education and knowledge would help them move from one summit to another.this was the advice given by his highness shaikh mohammed bin rashid al maktoum vice-president and prime minister of the uae and ruler of dubai at the graduation ceremony of the 33rd batch of uae university students in al ain on tuesday.hoping the new graduates would attain the highest ranks in their homeland the vice-president said “i convey to you the greetings of the president his highness shaikh khalifa (bin zayed al nahyan) and his best wishes to achieve more progress in your academic attainment for the advantage of your homeland and the coming generations.”congratulating both the graduates and their families who had waited for 20 years to see their sons and daughters graduate sheikh mohammed told them: “you have been through 20 years of planned work and now you are about to start a new era where you can plan for yourselves... great men know what they need from this life and in the uae we have been learning for 42 years and we are still learning and every day we learn something new.”shaikh hamdan bin mubarak al nahyan minister of higher education and scientific research and chancellor of uaeu said the founding father of the uae shaikh zayed bin sultan al nahyan had also founded the university and begun the country’s educational renaissance.he thanked the president whose directives had led to the educational boom the vice-president for his interest in educational institutions and emphasis on e-education nationwide and general shaikh mohammed bin zayed al nahyan crown prince of abu dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the uae armed forces for his support to the education sector in order to build uae citizens.the convocation was also attended by shaikh ammar bin humaid al nuaimi crown prince of ajman shaikh mohammed bin hamad bin mohammed al sharqi crown prince of fujairah shaikh rashid bin saud bin rashid al mu’alla crown prince of umm al qaiwain shaikh tahnoun bin mohammed al nahyan abu dhabi ruler’s representative in the eastern region shaikh nahyan bin mubarak al nahyan minister of culture youth and community development other ministers civil and military officials and heads of diplomatic missions.shaikh mohammed and dr ali rashid al noaimi vice-chancellor of uaeu handed over certificates to the 434 new graduates.mohammed ateeq al dhaheri one of the graduates gave the valedictory thanking the wise leadership of the uae for the care they had bestowed on education.
