(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait SC football team was Tuesday crowned as champion of the His Highness the Amir Cup, for the 10 time in it history after beating Qadsia SC 4-3 in penalty shoot-out, a game held under patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Kuwait was able to win the title after scoring four times in penalty shootout versus three to Qadsia, after original time ended 1-1.

The first half ended goalless, but 10 minutes into the second half Kuwait was able to find the net by Brazilian international Rogerio de Assis who got the rebound and scored the goal.

One minute later, Qadsia striker Bader Al-Mutawa scored the equalizer from a tremendous solo effort.
