The Iranian diplomat noted that there are exchange of "positive" signals between Tehran and Riyadh, mainly at the political and diplomatic levels. On another topic, Abdollahian hailed the outcome of Iraqi parliamentary elections, citing the high turnout which he described as reflecting ability of the government, Iraqi security and military forces to impose security in the country.
