(MENAFN- Arab Times) Wait sc won the his highness amir's cup 2014 after defeating qadsia sc in penalty shootout 4-3. the final match was held at kuwait club stadium in kaifan area on tuesday. the fierce battle between the rival teams went into extra time after drawing 1-1 in normal time. his highness the amir sheikh sabah al-ahmad al-jaber al-sabah patronized and attended the final match. the amir was received upon his arrival at the stadium by minister of information and minister of state for youth and sport sheikh salman sabah al-salem director general of the public authority for youth and sport sheikh ahmad mansour al-ahmad al-sabah chairman of kuwait football association (kfa) sheikh talal fahad al-ahmad al-sabah and chairmen of the two clubs. his highness the crown prince sheikh nawaf al-ahmad al-jaber al-sabah national assembly speaker marzouq ali al-ghanim sheikhs his highness sheikh nasser mohammad al-ahmad al-sabah his highness the prime minister sheikh jaber mubarak al-hamad al-sabah first deputy prime minister and foreign minister sheikh sabah khaled al-hamad al-sabah and deputy amiri diwan minister sheikh ali jarrah al-sabah also attended the final match. following the game his highness the amir handed the trophy to kuwait team for winning the cup.
