About 10 Russian Tourists in Egypt Injured in Bus Accident


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) r/>Cairo May 06 - Ten Russian tourists were injured Tuesday in Egypt in a bus accident on the road between Hurghada and Safaga on the Red Sea coast.

The tourists were seriously injured and and taken to the Hurghada hospital Egyptian state-run newspaper Al Ahram reported today.

Egypt is the Middle-East's top country when it comes to deaths related to road accidents. The World Health Organization (WHO) says that an average of 12000 people die of road accidents in Egypt each year.

Around 2.4 million Russian tourists visited Egypt last year.
