(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) r/>Gaza May 06 - Israeli naval forces Tuesday opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of al-Sudaniya to the northwest of Gaza city.
Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted Palestinian fishermen as saying that an Israel naval boat opened fire on Palestinian boats while they were fishing within the six-mile zone allowed for them to fish in off the shore in al-Sudaniya area.
Several fishing boats were reportedly damaged and fishermen fled the scene for fear of being injured by Israeli gunfire.
