RAK Police airlift epilepsy patient


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) E ras al khaimah police on sunday airlifted an emirati man who had an epileptic seizure in the mountainous area of sall mabrih to the nearest hospital.wing commander saeed rashid al mahi head of the police’s air wing said the central operations room was alerted about the condition of the patient who is living in a remote area 4000 feet above the sea level.“the patient suffered sudden epileptic attacks though two of his relatives were with him they could not help him. it needed an urgent action to save his life.”a chopper was dispatched to the scene where the patient was administered first aid and then flown to a hospital he added.al mahi said his section also rescued another emirati man whose pressure dipped alarmingly and lost consciousness.“another uae national found the patient unconscious in the raqiq mount in the east of the emirate.” the air wing rushed to the scene provided the patient with first aid and shifted him to the nearest hospital.“all air wing staff are geared up to handle all emergency reports in a record time and in the most professional way.”ahmedshaaban?khaleejtimes.com
