(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Amman May 05 - King Abdullah II of Jordan met here on Monday with President of Iraq's Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani who began an official several-day visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in all field especially economic investment and tourism field Jordan Petra news agency reported The king stressed strong Jordanian-Iraqi ties in various fields and voiced the Kingdom's support for efforts aimed at enhancing Iraq's security and stability and promoting national reconciliation among all sections of the Iraqi people.
Barzani commended Jordan's supportive stances towards the Iraqi people in different circumstances stressing his people's keenness to enhance the level of cooperation with the Kingdom in order to serve the common interests of both sides.
