(MENAFN - Arab News) Officials of the labor ministry booked 13 lingerie female accessories shops for violating the ministry's regulations at the taibah market in riyadh on thursday.

'the inspectors found that some shops were operating contrary to the specifications laid out for the environment for women workers" director of monitoring and inspections administration at the ministry of labor ahmed al-maliki said in a statement to the saudi press agency. he added that the inspectors will make more visits to ensure that all the shops are in line with the ministry's instructions.

'the inspections are in continuation of the earlier visits with the aim to regulate the labor market in addition to detecting any violations" al-maliki explained. he said that the ministry had set up monitoring rooms to oversee the results of the inspection campaigns and also to examine the reports or tip offs the ministry received regarding violations related to employment.

he further said that during the inspections the officers noticed that some expatriates had disappeared from their shops and that some stores were closed. 'however the inspectors will visit these establishments again to ensure that the workers are not misleading them" he said.
