UAE- Dewa Cesi ink deal to boost power grid


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The dubai electricity and water authority or dewa has signed a contract with cesi middle east to provide consultancy services related to connecting renewable energy generators to the dewa grid.

the deal is part of three key initiatives by the dewa to achieve the vision of his highness shaikh mohammed bin rashid al maktoum vice-president and prime minister of the uae and ruler of dubai to transform dubai into the smartest city in the world to enhance the quality of life in dubai and achieve sustainable development.

the main objectives of the project are to assist the dewa with launching its distributed renewable connection programme and further stabilising dubai’s energy supply.
