Indonesia's trade surplus posts USD670m in March


(MENAFN) Trade performance in Indonesia posted a surplus in March as exports of commodity rose due to global demand increase, encouraging policymakers to narrow the country's current account deficit, Xinhua reported. The trade performance in March reached a surplus of USD673.3 million as shipment of palm oil scale up to Japan and China following rising demand, Head of National Statistics Bureau announced. He added that exports in March grew to USD15.21 billion, up by 1.24 percent, while imports fell by 3.34 percent to USD14.54 billion.
