(MENAFN - Arab News) Madina: unique cricket club ousted my care hala by seven wickets to the win the moneygram twenty20 cricket ke badshah tournament held under the patronage of saudi cricket center and organized by the madina cricket league here. unique thus qualified for the moneygram champions league.

my care and hala were all out for 131 after unique won the toss and chose to field. younis (33) and sheraz (20) were the only batsmen who put up a fight all the others failed to reach double figures. unique's khuram ripped through the rival batting line-up and claimed four wickets. naveed and shahbaz took 2 wickets each.

in reply ucc comfortably achieved the target after 18 overs for the loss of three wickets. tariq of ucc scored 30 khuram 43 and shahbaz 35 runs. younus got 2 wickets. unique's khuram was declared man-of-the- match for this all-round performance and was presented with a check of sr 1000.

sadiq-ul-islam and hamid rana of saudi cricket center witnessed the final and distributed the prizes. naeem majeed president of mcl and amanat ali welcomed the guests.

the winning team's captain aamir shahzad received a check of sr 5000 and a trophy.

my care and hala were also gifted a check of sr 3000 and the runner-up trophy.

musawir of mch won the best batsman award a cash prize of sr 500 along with a kit bag.

best bowler award went to unique's aamir a cash prize sr 500 and a kit bag.

younis was chosen player-of-the-tournament. he got a cash prize of sr 1000 and a kit bag.

the umpires and the scorers were awarded medals and cash prizes for their effort. mcl's workers who worked hard during the tournament were also awarded with medals. both the finalists were awarded with the medals. special awards were given to naeem majeed and amanat ali for their hard work.

towards the end of the ceremony mcl presented the honorary shield to sadiq-ul-islam and hamid rana.
