(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ManamaMay 01 - King Juan Carlos I of Spain arrived here on Thursday coming from Oman for a state visit to the kingdom of bahrain as part of his current tour of the region .
BNA said that during t he visit king juan carlis will have talks with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them on all levels in addition to regional and international developments.
During his three-day visit to Oman King Juan Carlos discussed with Sultan Qaboos the promotion of existing bilateral ties. The two leaders also touched on topics of mutual interests at the regional and international levels.
King Juan Carlos has already made visits to neighbouring Gulf Cooperation Council states Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. He will also visit Saudi Arabia this May. The goal of the tour is to bolster Spain's bilateral relations and cooperation with Gulf states.
