4.9 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Aegean Sea
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Ankara April 30 - An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck off in the west coast of Turkey on the Aegean Sea.
Bogazici University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute in Turkey said that the quake occurred at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday was at a depth of 8 kilometers under the sea.
