Israel Allows 450 Trucks into Gaza


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Gaza April 30 - Israeli occupation authorities opened Wednesday the Karam Abu Salem crossing to allow the entry of 430 trucks loaded with aids and goods for the commercial agricultural and transportation sectors.

Head of the Coordination Committee for entry of goods in the Gaza Strip Raed Fattouh said that the Israeli side decided to allow the entry of 430 trucks in addition to 29 trucks loaded with gravel for the United Nations Development Programme projects.

The Israeli authorities will also allow the entry of 11 trucks loaded with cement 77 trucks loaded with gravel for UNRWA projects Fattouh added.

Karam Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which goods and fuel enter the Gaza Strip and the occupation authorities close it on Friday and Saturday of each week.
