Saudi Arabia urges people to stay away from camel meat, milk to avoid coronavirus


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Saudi acting Health Minister Adel Faqih urged people Tuesday to stay away from camel meat and milk in order to prevent coronavirus infection Faqih told a news conference the health ministry would be providing periodic publications about the virus as well as setting up three centers in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam to confront the disease. Faqih said wearing masks was only necessary in places where direct contacts with coronavirus patients were taking place. The minister said a conference over coronavirus would be held in Riyadh featuring participation of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO), and universities from Australia, Germany and Britain. He did not say when the conference would take place. The virus claimed the lives of 102 people in Saudi Arabia out of 339 infectees.
