Qatar Leadership Centre Honors Members of Its Inaugural Programs


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha April 29 - Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) honored 67 outstanding Qataris who have completed its first two customized leadership programs with a special honoring ceremony attended by a number of ministers government officials leading executives and special guests.

HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani Chairperson of the QLC Board of Directors addressed the participants from the Current and Future Leaders Program and the Executive Leaders Program: "This celebration symbolizes an important accomplishment in the leadership development of 67 Qataris who are honored today for supporting Qatar's development goals by being part of the national initiative for leadership excellence." She added: "In line with the vision of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Qatar Leadership Centre seeks to be a hub for excellence in leadership development and knowledge generation to support the human social economic and environmental pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030." Qatar Leadership Centre is committed to achieving the 2030 national development strategy by seeking to advance and nurture Qatar's leadership talent pool and qualify current and future leaders to help them achieve their full potential and support the future development plans of the State of Qatar.

HE Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah Foreign Minister and Vice Chairman of the QLC Board of Directors emphasized that "the development of leadership skills has become inseparable from excellence and success. Building local leadership capacity will serve the country by providing a strong foundation for the next generation. And that is the mission of the Qatar Leadership Centre." (MORE)
