(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kuwait April 29 -Kuwait is to host tomorrow Wednesday the 7th meeting of the GCC Customs Union Authority which includes the directors general of the GCC customs departments.
During the meeting the GCC customs directors general will discuss a variety of topics related to the GCC Customs Union Authority inter-alia the report of the general secretariat on completing the requirements of the GCC customs union the customs protectionism the local agent protection standardizing the measures and requirements of the imported foreign commodities in the first entry points and improving performace of the GCC customs exits .
The authority will later refer its relevant report to the financial and economic cooperation committee pending to adopting the adequate measures within the GCC to be put later into force as of early 2015 in implementation of the resolution of the GCC supreme council in its 31st and 32nd session in this respect.he Customs Union of the GCC States as of 1/1/ 2003 A.C
