(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Manama April 29 - Bahraini Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa met Tuesday with visiting Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa and discussed means of bolstering bilateral cooperation ties in all fields.
The Bahraini premier stressed "the need to expand areas of joint cooperation particularly in the economic trade and investment fields through the implementation of the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between" both countries state news agency BNA reported.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka started a state visit to Bahrain on Monday.
