Tesco, Dubai's Choithrams to sign partnership deal

(MENAFN) The world's third largest retailer, Tesco, will sign an exclusive partnership deal with Dubai's supermarket chain Choithrams, Arabian Business reported. The partnership between the two will help establish Tesco-branded products in the UAE by selling them exclusively though Choithrams' 31 stores in the UAE. Choithrams currently operates in Bahrain, Qatar and Oman and has announced plans in 2012 to launch 32 new stores across the GCC by the end of this year. Tesco's market valuation is at USD38 billion and has 530,000 employees and operates 6,351 stores worldwide.
