(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kabul April 29 - At least 46 Taliban militants were killed in joint operations launched by Afghan forces and the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF) during the past 24 hours in different regions of the country.
Afghanistan's Interior Ministry said in a statement today that Afghan forces carried out with ISAF several joint operations in different regions of the country killing 46 Taliban militants wounding ten and arresting 26 others.
The statement added that the security forces seized large quantities of heavy and light weapons.
