224,200 new companies launched in Vietnam in 3 years


(MENAFN) An official report released said that Vietnam witnessed establishing around 224,200 companies during the 2011-2013 period, which equals nearly 41 percent of the total number of companies established in the country during the 1991-2010 period, Xinhua reported. During the first three months of 2014 the number of newly registered firms in Vietnam reached about 18,000 with a total capital of USD4.64 billion, an increase of 17 percent in volume and 23 percent in value compared to the previous year. Despite this increase in newly established firms, the same period witnessed shutting-down or dissolving around 17,000 local firms, up 9.6 percent compared to the previous year.
