(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Ministry of State for Youth Affairs launched Monday a national plan for combating violence in the society.
In a press statement, the Ministry said the plan comprises 40 measures to address the phenomenon on the short and long terms.
The Ministry stated that the plan was set by a number of social experts, and was approved the cabinet.
It added that several state bodies and agencies will work together to put into effect the national plan.
The Ministry urged preachers and media people to contribute to the plan thorough raising people's awareness about the danger of such a growing phenomenon.
