GCC Interior Undersecretaries Begin Their 6th Meeting


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kuwait April 28 -The GCC interior undersecretaries began their 6th meeting here on Monday and which will run for two days.

HE Staff Major General . Saad Bin Jassim Al Khulaifi the Director General of Public Security leads qatar's delegation to the meeting .

The undersecretaries mainly discussed in their meeting topics tabled on the agenda to adopt a set of recommendations to be later forwarded to the 15th consultative meeting of the GCC interior ministers.

In an address before the opening session Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah underlined the depth of relations and bonds among the GCC countries stressing the significance of exerting continuous efforts to maintain Gulf security and public safety through a single security strategy on the fight against crimes.

The Kuwaiti minister urged the GCC security officials to launch more fruitful and constructive cooperation in order to maintain the gains of the GCC member states in all security fields and to support their joint plans and programs.

He voiced hope that the meeting will come up with recommendations that could really live up to the current Gulf security challenges and establish Gulf security cooperation on all levels.
