(MENAFN) Passengers traveling through Dubai International reached more than 6 million in March due to expanding the networks of Emirates Airline and flydubai, Arabian Business reported.
Traffic statistics by Dubai Airports show that March marked the third month of passenger traffic over 6 million in a period of 4 months.
Passenger traffic at the airport went up 7.5 percent in the month, increasing from 5,846,297 passengers in March 2013 to 6,285,868 passengers last month.
During the first quarter, passenger traffic hit a record of 18,361,820 passengers, increasing 11.4 percent from the same period a year earlier.
