(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Washington April 28 - At least 12 people were killed Monday after two tornadoes destroyed everything in their path in Southern US.
The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management said today that 12 people were killed since the tornadoes hit Sunday. The Oklahoma Emergency Management Agency said that the two tornadoes that hit the state destroyed entire housing areas. It also destroyed trees and electricity lines.
US President Barack Obama now on an asian tour offered his condolences to the families of the victims and promised the people in the two states swift aid.
