(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Cairo April 28 - An Egyptian court sentenced Monday Supreme Guide of Muslim Brotherhood dr.Mohamed Badie and 37 others to death for storming a police station and killing the officers in the station.
The court also transferred the case of 682 others to the country's Grand Mufti over violence that followed the overthrow of President Mohamed Mursi last year. Some 491 of them were sentenced to life in prison. The earlier sentenced in the same case saw the cases of 539 people sentenced to death. Only 147 attended the hearing today as the rest were sentenced in absentia.
