(MENAFN) Industries, Mines and Trade Ministry said that Iran's exports were estimated at 18 million tons of cement in the Iranian year ended March 20, 2014, according to Iran Daily.
In cement production, Iran ranked first in the Middle East and third globally.
Iran sells 50 million tons of its cement production in its domestic market of its 80 million tons total cement production annually.
Domestic cement consumption is expected to reach 55 million tons in the next five years.
