Indian Army Opens Indiscriminate Firing near Line of Control


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Islamabad April 28 - Indian Army once again carried out indiscriminate firing in Kotera sub-sector area near Kotli on the Line of Control (LoC) Pakistani (Geo News) reported on Monday.

According to military sources this is the second time that the Indian forces have violated the LoC in one week. In the recent incident of indiscriminate firing in Kotera sub-sector fortunately no loss of life took place.

In response Pakistan Army retaliated with full force that compelled the Indian side to discontinue the firing.

The last incident of LoC violation occurred on April 25 when Pakistani and Indian troops exchanged fire on the LoC when Indian force broke a three-month-long period of calm in Poonch Sector by resorting to unprovoked firing according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
