(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Under the auspices and attendance of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the 11th Arab Media Forum opened on Sunday, under the slogan "Transformations and Challenges." The opening ceremony was attended by ministers, sheikhs, governors, and media figures.
Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Sabah delivered a speech on this occasion, followed by a speech by Egypt's Information Minister Durriah Sharaf Ad-Deen. Bahraini Information Minister Sameera Ibrahim Rajab also addressed the opening ceremony.
Speeches were also given by Arab League Assistant Secretary General for Media and Communications Haifa Abu Ghazala and Arab Media Forum Secretary General Madhi Al-Khamees.
During the ceremony, His Highness the Prime Minister was honored for his contributions and support to to journalists.
