(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) JazanApril 27 -Within their daily duties and operations to safeguard the saudi kingdom's boders against any violations and infringements the Border Patrols in Al-Tawal Governorate sector of Jazan region have thwarted a number of smuggling attempts last week.
The media spokesman of Jazan Border Guards Brigadier Abdullah bin Mahfouz said in a statement relayed by the saudi press agency (SPA) on Sunday that during those operations '277 ' kilo grams of Qat '110' infiltrators '17' smugglers and two vehicles used for the purposes of smuggling were seized.
Brigadier Abdullah bin Mahfouz meantime commended the faithful and tireless efforts of the Border Patrol men in this regard.
