Qatar's Nakilat profit up 17 percent in Q1


(MENAFN) Qatar Gas Transport Company Limited (Nakilat) posted USD56.80 million net profit for the first three months of the current year, according to Qatar News Agency. The quarter's net profit was 17 percent higher than the same period 2013 which was USD48.573 million. HE the Minister of Energy and Industry and Chairman of Qatar Gas Transport Company Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada said, "The strong results of the company's earnings clearly reflect the strong growth of Nakilat's main business activities of transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG), through the expansion of the company's business activities to include international markets."
