(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Vice President Joe Biden spoke on Friday night with Qatari Amir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the Office of the Vice President announced.
"The Vice President and the Amir consulted on regional issues, including the conflict in Syria," the statement said.
"Both leaders reaffirmed the important and enduring strategic and economic relationship between Qatar and the United States."
