Egyptian Foreign Minister Visits US


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) San Francisco April 25 - Egyptian Foreign Ministry Nabil Fahmy arrived in the United States on his first official visit to the country since June 30 2013.

Egyptian state-run news agency (MENA) reported today that Fahmy will participate in discussions in a number of research centers in San Francisco dealing with his views of bilateral relations and cooperation between both countries in a number of regional and issues such as the Palestinian cause and the Syrian crisis.

Afterwards Fahmy will head to Washington to hold talks with US Secretary General John Kerry on bilateral relations in all fields. They will also discuss issues of common interest particularly the Palestinian cause and the latest developments of the Syrian crisis as well as means of clearing the Middle-East from weapons of mass destruction.
