(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Abu Dhabi April 24 - General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Abu Dhabi crown prince and deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces received Thursday a written message from Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz dealing with bilateral ties and issues of mutual concern.
Sheikh Mohamed got the message as he met with Lieutenant-General Mohamed Ould Cheikh Mohemd Ahmed chief of Mauritania's national army staff currently on a visit to Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting the two sides discussed means of bolstering bilateral ties and enhancing them.
The two sides also discussed aspects of joint cooperation and coordination especially in the military and defense areas and exchanged views on a set of issues of common interest.
