(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Amman April 24 - Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh met on Thursday with his Uruguayan counterpart Luis Almagro who is currently visiting Jordan.
The meeting discussed bilateral ties as well as the latest developments in the region.
The two ministers emphasized the strong ties between the two countries as well as the need to continue coordination and consultations on issues of common interest.
On regional developments the two ministers reviewed the crisis in Syria and the need to end bloodshed in the country.
They also discussed the US-brokered Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations as well as challenges facing them.
