3 GCC countries among top 30 on network readiness index


(MENAFN) According to an annual global technology survey for network readiness index for 2014, three GCC countries have made it to the top 30 list for the third year in a row, Gulf Daily News reported. Qatar has remained at 23, the UAE moved up one rank to 24 and Bahrain also remained at 29, the survey showed. While Saudi Arabia and Oman ranked 32 and 40, respectively. "As in previous years, the Mena region depicts a highly diversified outlook in terms of the capacity of countries to leverage ICTs to boost competitiveness and well-being.," said GITR co-author and executive director of INSEAD's European Competitiveness Initiative.
