UAE's Jumeirah to expand portfolio in Dubai

(MENAFN) UAE's Jumeirah Group is planning to add additional hotels to its Dubai portfolio in the following 6 years, Arabian Business reported. The luxury hotelier's president and group CEO said that the Jumeirah will be working with its parent company Dubai Holding for the development of the hotels in the emirate. The president said: "We're fortunate to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Holding; Dubai Holding, through its verticals of Tecom and Dubai Property Group, has a lot of ambitions to develop hotels in Dubai and we know that we'll be working very closely with the parent company to deliver on the expectation as far as that's concerned." Jumeirah Group is currently working on phase-four of its 435-room property Madinat Jumeirah scheduled to launch in 2016.
