2090 killed in Pakistan's Sectarian violence since 2008


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Islamabad April 24 - As many as 2 090 people were killed in sectarian attacks across Pakistan since 2008 a report submitted by the Interior Ministry disclosed on Wednesday.

The Interior Ministry in its written report in the Senate said that 104 people were killed in Punjab 252 in Sindh 22 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 737 in Balochistan 863 in FATA 103 in FATA and 10 in Islamabad.

The report claimed that 107 people involved in these attacks were arrested.

The Senate was further told that no drone attack took place in the FATA after peace talks began with Taliban.
