(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) lamabad April 24 - Two persons including a senior police officer Inspector Shafiq Tanoli were killed when a blast occurred near old vegetable market in Pakistan's Karachi on Thursday morning (Geo News) reported. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Nasir Lodhi Inspector Shafiq Tanoli was killed along with his friend when a blast occurred in old vegetable market near his house. Three persons were also injured in the explosion who were shifted to the hospital in critical condition hospital sources told. It is pertinent to mention here that Inspector Tanoli was actively involved in the investigation of Wali Khan Babar's murder case and had previously escaped several attacks on his life.
