OPEC basket price drops 15 cents, stands at USD 105.19 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) OPEC daily basket price dropped USD 15 cents on Tuesday, reaching USD 105.19 per barrel (pb), compared to USD 105.53 pb Monday, the cartel said here on Wednesday. OPEC's annual rate for the basket price in 2013 was USD 105.85 per barrel. Last December, OPEC Ministers of Oil have decided to keep the productivity level of its 12 member states stable at 30 million barrel per day, to protect stability and balance in international oil markets. The new OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venez).
