(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Buyers seek deals on newly launched smartphones

the first day of gitex shopper spring edition recorded strong turnout despite the fact that it was a working day and people seen coming out of the venue loaded with shopping bags.

the first day response is beyond expectations and most of the customers looking for deals on newly launched smartphones such as samsung galaxy s5 the htc one m8 and the lenovo vibe z top exhibitors told khaleej times.

the trend is not new as smartphone category always ranked top during gitex shopper but this time specially because of the new launches which had happened earlier this month they added.

gitex shopper spring 2014 was inaugurated by mansour bin mohammed bin rashid al maktoum. the region’s biggest consumer it and electronics retail show runs until april 26 at the dubai international convention and exhibition centre.
