Iran to launch 4 petrochemical plants


(MENAFN) Iran plans to launch four new petrochemical plants this year, said the Iranian deputy oil minister, according to Iran Daily. Iran"s Deputy Oil Minister for Petrochemical Affairs Abbas Sheri Moqaddam said the country plans to first complete the development projects, and then construct four petrochemical plants. He said: "In recent years, the domestic sales of petrochemical products have increased considerably, and with the implementation of new development projects, the petrochemical production capacity will rise significantly."
