Arab League condemns Israeli transgressions against Al-Aqsa Mosque

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Arab League denounced Tuesday the continued Israeli transgressions against Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Muslim's third holiest worship place, in East Jerusalem. In a press statement, Assistant Secretary General for Palestine Affairs Ambassador Mohamed Subeih criticized the Israeli restrictions and even prevention of Palestinians from entering the mosque while facilitating Israeli settlers entry into it. Moreover, he slammed Israeli illegal practices against Christian worship and historic sites. Subeih accused also the Israeli government of trying to cleanse Jerusalem from non-Jews. He denounced extremist Jewish settlers encroachments against Muslim holy places in the occupied East Jerusalem.
