Tokyo Stocks Rebound in Morning Supported by US Gains


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) kyo April 23 - Tokyo stocks bounced back Wednesday morning after two days of losses with sentiment lifted by overnight gains on Wall Street. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average went up 81.77 points or 0.57 percent from Tuesday to 14470.54 according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was up 5.74 points or 0.49 percent at 1168.24. Gainers were led by rubber information and communication and paper and pulp shares.
