(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Russia Tuesday considered a Canadian diplomat persona-non-grata and gave him 14 days to leave.
Interfax news agency quoting Russian diplomatic sources as saying that "Russia considers the first secretary of the Canadian embassy Margarita Atanasov persona-non-grata and asked him to leave the country in 14 days.
"The step came in retaliation for the recent expulsion from Ottawa of an aide to the Russian military attache," the sources said.
They accused Canada of adopting anti-Russian approach that was linked with the crisis in Ukraine.
