Al Shaqab grabs Champion Stallion's title in Las Vegas


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation, continued its impressive success in international Arabian Horse Show competition around the world, after the spectacular results achieved in the Arabian Breeders World Cup which was held recently in Las Vegas, USA, with a large international participation of the prominent and famous farmers and cleats from all over the world. Al Shaqab won gold medal in the stallion's championship by Hariry Al Shaqab, who gave a great performance and surprised everyone, especially since Al Shaqab has prepared him to sit on the throne of the world of beauty. Hariry Al Shaqab is the son of Marwan Al Shaqab and White Silkk. Hariry Al Shaqab has won many Championship in the United States, and is a strong candidate to participate in the World Championship Arabian Horse Show which will be held before the end of the year in the French capital Paris. During The Arabian Breeders World Cup Victoria Al Shaqab, daughter of Farhoud Al Shaqab and Victoria II HPS, won the silver medal in yearling filly category. Al Shaqab has participated with only Hariry Al Shaqab and Victoria Al Shaqab, which shows the extent of success achieved by the win of stallions gold medal and silver medal in yearling filly category. Moreover, Al Shaqab was awarded the prize of the best breeder in the world for 2014, which is the grand prize in the championship that confirms the breeding excellence of Al Shaqab in the world for Arabian horses. Al Shaqab delegation in The Arabian Breeders World Cup was composed of Mohammed Al Sulaiti, Breeding and Show Manager, Abdullah Al Kuwari, Breeding Specialist, and Majid Al Kaabi, Head of Stable Operations, in addition to the rest of the group. Mohammed Al Sulaiti confirmed that the achievements in The Arabian Breeders World Cup did not come from a vacuum, but are the result of full support and encouragement for Breeding and Show Department and Al Shaqab officials were keen to reach the top and continue to maintain it. That is why the participation in The Arabian Breeders World Cup was a High-level test through the participation of farms from many countries, such as US, Britain, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Poland, Belgium and Chile.
