the smart lab event also witnessed awarding of the “best sales achievement award 2013” by the mazda corporation to galadari automobiles. mr mohammed abdul latif galadari and mr khaled soliman board member and group ceo of the galadari brothers group respectively received the award on behalf of galadari automobiles from mr hiroshi yoshida general manager – middle east & africa market – mazda corporation.

the all-new mazda3 was unveiled to the world at events held simultaneously in five cities where the consensus was loud and clear: “mazda has done it again!” the model launch which coincided with the 10th anniversary of the very first mazda3 rolling off the production line in japan also acknowledged that defying convention works too.

the all-new 2015 mazda3 is available in both 1.6l and 2.0l engines with six different models ranging up to 155bhp. the 1.6l engine will be available at a starting rate of dh63000 while the 2.0l engine will be sold at a price range starting from dh88000.

ewan ramsay general manager galadari automobiles commented on the launch of the new mazda3: “we are delighted to announce the launch and sale of the all-new award-winning 2015 mazda3 in the uae. the all-new mazda3 is undeniably a worthy third member of mazda’s newest generation of cars with its award-winning ‘kodo – soul of motion’ design and cutting-edge skyactiv technology following in the tracks of the mazda cx-5 and the new mazda6; two of mazda’s hugely successful models.”

the new mazda3 features mzd connect the company’s brand new in-vehicle connectivity concept — fitting for this year’s iaa whose central themes include the networked car of the future. designed for straightforward and above all safe operation the system makes the latest generation of mazda’s all-time bestseller one of the first in its class to take occupants online.

the cabin which offers near best-in-class dimensions is split into separate driver and passenger zones. these are designed for fun stress-free driving and a secure relaxing passenger experience. complementing this inspired layout concept is a safe-to-use and remarkably ergonomic human-machine interface. highlights here include the active driving display mazda’s new 7” central display voice commands and a rotary commander redesigned to ensure drivers have total control of their car’s infotainment features without taking their eyes off the road. the new mazda3 combines an arsenal of high-tech active safety technology with its innovative occupant and pedestrian-focused passive safety concept. its safety and stability features are considered the best in its class being the only car in its category to offer such features: mazda radar cruise control rear vehicle monitoring system distance recognition support system navigation smart brake support amongst many others.

on the outside the new mazda3 inherits the powerful stance dynamic flowing lines and general beauty of kodo as interpreted on the mazda6. based on the mazda3’s smaller leaner proportions its shapes work like a magnet building anticipation of what the car can do. and with its unconventional skyactiv technology line-up of ultra-efficient lightweight engines and transmissions on a proven body and chassis system the car can do wonders offering a level of performance and driving dynamics are mirrored by its looks.

mazda’s engineers have managed to make extreme compression both effective and economical. the new mazda3 delivers enviably low fuel consumption and co2emissions yet more than ever still lives up to its sporty compact label thanks to smooth linear acceleration and precise nimble handling.

the all-new mazda3 is now available for test-drives in all galadari automobiles showrooms across the uae.
